These are the challenges for September 2009:
Create an ACEO that has Buttons.
slow loris holding her grub.
Photograph something really weird or hard to recognize and turn it into an aceo.
Rainbows
Depict person winning something and crazy happy! lol
Make an aceo card using the shadow of an image.
Do an ACEO based on your favorite book.

Very fun challenges!
This looks like so much fun. So does someone choose a specific artist or is there ever a general theme each artist tries to paint/draw..? I LOVE ACEOs!

It sure is a lot of fun!
There are 2 ways you can do challenges, the first is called a GENERAL CHALLENGE...
Any artists can post a challenge on the main thread (see at the end for the link) and then any artist can respond. The challenges don't expire.
The 2nd is a SPECIFIC ARTIST CHALLENGE...
Any artist can challenge 1 or more artists to a specific challenge, the artist doesn't have to respond with an ACEO but usually they do.

You can then sell your cards you've made, and put ACEO Bounty before the title, and tell in the description what challenge you are answering! They can also be traded or donated to the Mini ACEO Bounty.
The Mini ACEO Bounty is a monthly giveaway / contest we hold, and 1 artist wins a bunch of cards, it is a lot of fun too - but completely optional. Here's the link to the September 15th draw for more info...
